This is a WIRED phone and is not cordless as described just to make that clear.
It uses a usb connection software is easy to install and works faultlessly but i would of prefered a cordless phone!
The phone is really light but feels sturdy. and comes with a neat little stand to put on your desk.
I had never used skype or voip even, before and have had no trouble with this item a bargain for free online calls I say.
Great phone - but not dual use!
Got a couple of these for work, as we're new to Skype and wanted something "middle of the road" to start with.
It was an absolute breeze to set up, and for the price the sound quality is excellent (we have dealt with other people using Skype who sound like they are at the bottom of a well!)
Not sure what all the "dual use" bit is about on Amazon - there is NO mains connector, and no way of connecting this phone to a landline. It's just a phone with a wired USB connection.
So, a good phone, but Amazon need to sort out their descriptions!!
Excellent Internet Phone
I think that this internet phone is the best and it also has great sound. The only bad thing is that it's not cordless but then again you don't really need it cordless. Its installation is simple and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for an internet phone.
