Customer Reviews
surprisingly good
wasnt quite sure what to expect from Paris Hilton, but i really enjoyed this song, should be a good hit, a very summery song, and extremly catchy. Cant wait for the album!
I Love POOP!!!
Finally!!! We Finally Get Paris's Album. Finally she can shine the way we all know she can. Oh, what great music, I can think of no other music that close to being as good as this CD. I know this is technically Pop music, but I think it's so good that it deserves 2 O's. From now on I think we should refer to Paris' music as Poop. After all, I think she's so uber important that she deserves her own class of music anyway. So FINALLY we get more than just slutty posing & dirty looks, we get get more than just one sided character acting, & bad stick figure porn, finally Paris has unvailed POOP to the whole world. I love Poop music because it's so very different than anything else out there on the radio. Poop sounds nothing at all like anything we've heard in fact for the last 10 years of top 40 music. Poop has a style all its own & personally I can't wait to have Paris' Poop shoved at me every where I turn, every store I walk into, every time I turn on the radio, & every dance club I go to. Finally Paris, thank you. Make mine Poop 'til my ears bleed. Poop's so hot!!!
One Note in Paris
Seriously now, this song could have been sung by anybody, so why not Paris? She's already shown us what she can and more often can't do, and as we've already judged her acting, writing, dancing, reality TV and internet movie skills, it would be unfair of us to leave music out.
Necessarily overproduced to make up for vocal shortcomings, the opening bars of UB40's "Kingston Town" are actually quite catchy, and then thankfully the dance beat completely overpowers her vocal (or should I say "oral") performance.
Unfortunately for the listener, the reality of Paris Hilton is that too much is never enough, so she gives us many more versions of the song, some of them running a mind-numbing nine minutes long and - horror of horrors - leaving out the redeeming UB40 reggae hook.
Don't be too surprised if this single and the upcoming album go multi-platinum though - money can't buy love, but it can buy an awful lot of CDs. See you at the Grammys.
