Customer Reviews
Don't buy if you have 'The Thrifty Gardener'
This book is almost identical to 'The Thrifty Gardener'. If you have that you don't want this and vice versa. Amazon suggest that both books might be bought together but in my opinion that would be a mistake as I believe 'Garden Anywhere' is simply an American version of 'The Thrifty Gardener'.
N.B. I only have 'Garden Anywhere' in front of me - if I am wrong perhaps Amazon would be good enough to remove this review.
ditto as above
I have a copy of Thrifty Gardener and have found it to be very useful and informative. Have'nt seen the inside of Garden Anywhere, but I can see from the cover that the photo of Alys is the same as my book, leading me to agree with the above review. Better to spend your cash on plants and seeds.
dont buy if you have thrify gardener,do if you havent
i mistakenly bought this thinking that alys would have something else to say with more tips etc like it implies in the product display.
this is not the case.
it is the same book as the thrifty gardener, just a different title and book cover, i even read both and compared each against each other.
if you dont have the thrifty gardener, it really is the best book in the world for fasinating tips, low cost options, how to keep seeds etc, i couldnt put it down for weeks and i constantly bored people that hate gardening with my new found knowledge.
so, if you have the thrifty gardener, id give it one star, if you havent got the thrifty gardener, buy this (or obviously the thrifty gardener), it is worth the five stars!
