Own a piece of Arsenal history4
This DVD is a great buy for any type of Arsenal fan. the main feature of this DVD is a surprisingly long 3 hour documentary on the complete history of Arsenal. It starts off right from the start back in 1886, when the club was founded and charts all the highs and lows right through to the 2002/2003 season. In my opinion it seems to whizz through the early years of the club very quickly and only skimming the surface of what was happening in those times, but however this could be expected as there is very limited video footage form back then. Within about 30 minutes a good number of decades have already been passed. It is from about the fifties onwards that it really gets going. There is a large number of former playerrs and others associated with the club whose interviews are used extensivly throughout to provide further insight into the club. There is also a healthy collection of goals that are shown from all the major matches. The DVD is a good record of all Arsenal's achievements in football and it does this very well. It's focus is very firmly on the actual football and not really things in general for the club e.g. the development of the ground. Although this does not matter that much, it does leave a few gaps in the story. There are a few things that have been left out but it is obvious to see why, as in its state now the DVD is 3 hours long so, clearly the makers have crammed everything they could into it. In addtion to the main feature there are some extras included but these are not too special. There is a complete extended interview witht the current manager Arsene Wenger, some extra information on cup winning managers of the past and also other video clips from four of the best matches. These extras do not really add to the DVD that much. To finish then this is a good DVD to buy if you want a comprehensive run-down of Arsenal and what they have done. It provides lots of information for the viewer and flows very well through all the times of the club, but it does not really have that extra thing that would make it great to watch. It seems have too much re-telling of the arsenal story and you do not get a real feel for what it was like in some of the periods it covers.

FANTASTIC !!5
The feature itself was very informative although i did feel it was a bit long and a bit too "thin" in places. i feel it could have been done better by concentrating on an era and not including everything. having said this the presentation was fantastic, with amazing menus and audio: a real treat!
