Not all it seems
It was not clear to me how long the cover applied i.e. was it 3 years extended warranty after the expiry of the manufacturer one year warranty giving a total of four years cover or 2 years extended warranty giving a total of three years. It is the latter. I do not think that the production description on the Amazon website explains this well enough.

iI think this is expensive for the cover required. As this is the only option for the item required, there was no choice available as you can get in the electrical shops.
