About the Author
Trained as an economist, statistician and accountant, worked as a Financial Analyst, as O & M Consultant and Operational Researcher, then lecturer and restaurateur. His passion for better healthcare led him to train as an Osteopath, set up one of the first Holistic Health Centres in the UK in 1981, joined the Natural Medicines Society Council and become a member of the Scientific & Medical Network. He trained as a Buteyko practitioner through the BIBH in 2005. He believes we are at an critical evolutionary stage in our understanding and practice of medicine and that we need to meet this challenge not with the old paradigm of Newtonian thinking but a new 21st Century Vision, not the field for medical flat earthers. He believes Professor Buteyko was one of the leading 21st century physicians whose work has yet to be fully acknowledged in mainstream medicine.
