This book works best in conjunction with "Rough Guide to the Lake District" as between them they tick all the boxes for walks, attractions etc

Ecellent guide to were i was going.
After booking my holaday to Windermere i hadnt got a clue were anything in the lakes was. I was one of tho people who alway seam to get lost. so i decided on this Guide, 1st it an AZ guide which alway seam the best guide to buy. It lists all the villages town in the lakes and gives a detailed map of the lakes and then a street map listing all the street in the area ie windermere, gives ur a quick guide of that town and were import imformation is. If you have a sat nav using the book u can find were ur going and at the back of the book list place of intrested with map grid number so u can find them on the map. Well worth it.
