Synopsis
At a suburban Texas high school, Dinah (Connie Nelson), a geometry teacher who coaches the girls' basketball team, and Carly (Dee Hennigan), a principal's assistant who is also the wife of an algebra teacher, kiss during a basketball lesson and find themselves embarking on an affair. When word gets out, they find themselves in the middle of a scandal that rocks the foundations of their pious community. Winner of the 1996 Sundance Film Festival.

Delightful
A sensitively drawn picture of lesbian love with its inherent hopes and fears. Neither of the women concerned is beautiful in the generally accepted sense, but both show a delicacy and tenderness that make this a delightful love story.
The ending, involving family, etc. is perhaps a little unrealistic but the final result is a sense of fulfilment in an emotional closeness that is not always respected by people who haven't any knowledge of the subject.

Brilliant film
I have this film on VHS and it's brilliant it's funny and i highly recommend it.

Avoid like hell !!!
Oh my god!! I've never seen such a useless film before. Please avoid, do not buy even if in discount.
Wrong casting, wrong direction,stupid dialogues, no romance...and many many more wrongs!
