Fantastic !!!5
This little guy affectionately nicknamed "Robbie" in our house has been played with almost constantly since we managed to extract him from the box (this was the most difficult toy to get out of the box I have ever come across!). This toy is definitely worth the money, and the batteries do last for quite a while........... mine have been in for over two weeks now and show no sign of running down, and he is used alot............ usually to scare me.
I read the other reviews and was nearly put off from purchasing him, but I think they were maybe expecting alot for their money, he does not walk that fast on carpet but he does walk faster on a hard floor. I would definitely but this again, and am thinking of the next model up!
Hope you find this review helpful.

Disappointed from Devon2
what a disapointment this is. from the hype and the sales descriptions i'd expected much - kind of like a little guy wandering around the home responding to controls and interacting with his environment.

In reality it cannot walk far or fast or even cope with a change in the thickness of the carpet, the batteries run down really quickly, so that it cannot walk at all after a matter of minutes and the hand movements are broken after only a couple of hours play time.

In a way it is interesting as an art object illustrating how poor robotic toys still are and what a way they have to go yet to fulfill the hopes we may have of them. i'm glad i bought it as a bit of fun for my middle aged self rather than as a present for one of the children as they could only have had a significant disappointment.

Don't Buy2
The V2 is a piece of junk. Very disappointed, it is clumsy in its actions, keeps falling over and fails to recognise colours on most tries. Check out the forums for a full run down on the issues.

This looks like a rush job without being fully tested for bugs.

Spend your hard earned cash on something else.
