Product Description
Think small. BigSmall. Small is beautiful. Good things come in small packages. Small ones are more juicy. However you like to put it, sometimes there's a beauty and economy in reducing the scale of an object and cramming it full of cleverness. Now, the ever-so-clever chaps behind the legendary Spykee robot have done just that with the creation of Spykee Micro. Paying homage to its bigger brother, this reduced scale Spykee is a perfect introduction to the whole Spykee Universe, embodying design genius, total remotely controlled mobility, and a host of special light and sound effects. And its overall impact is as impressive as you'd expect. With full forward and spin movement and complete mobility on a variety of surfaces, Spykee Micro is built for travel. But he does more. With a fully articulated head and set of arms, not to mention advanced special effects, he's purpose-built for all manner of boyish scrapes. Fresh from the reinvented and reinvigorated Meccano stable, the Spykee cyborg range has some dashed clever technology at its core. This awe-inspiring family of robots is preconfigured for a new generation or robo-enthusiasts. In short, Spykee's distinctive design and ground-breaking functionality has us rather drooling at the mouth, in an ever-so manly way. Splendid.

Does not deserve the meccano name
This is not a building toy. It's just a remote control robot that needs very minimal assembly. All it does is move forward, backward/spin, and light up.

I got this robot as a christmas present. It is brilliant!
It looks very cool and the controlls are easy to work. Driving this toy is addictive. His head glows in the dark which looks awesome. He can work on any surface whether it is a deep pile carpet or a slippery desk top.

Perfect for a 4 yr old - but no higher
Following on from my son's work with beebot at school I thought this would be an excellent toy compared to his remote control tarantula. Unfortunately he realised it's limitations and was happy for his 4 yr old sister to play with it instead! - which is an extremely rare occurrence.
Very good quality and robust - excellent fun with the sounds and light - but the movement forwards and backwards is too limiting - it turns on it's jockey wheel so can't be manoeuvred with any precision.
Oh well - another bargain on ebay methinks!!
