Amazon.co.uk Review
It’s rarely a good sign when a game sells itself on its comedy value as much as its gameplay, but although Destroy All Humans! certainly has its problems it’s still a witty and original slice of Sci-Fi hokum.

Cast as an evil, Jack Nicholson sounding, alien called Crypto you are sent out to perform the game’s titular task in a stylised 1950s America, where the game has good fun poking fun at McCarthy era paranoia and the banality of suburban life.

Developed by the same team behind LucasArts’ Mercenaries, there are some obvious similarities between the two games. There isn’t a single giant game world and you can’t go around pinching vehicles but the combat and freedom to explore and destroy virtually anything is very similar. In fact the only vehicle you can pilot is your trusty, and super destructive, UFO, which is parked at a specific spot on each level.

On foot you have a range of weapons, including the just-as-painful-as-it-sounds anal probe. You also have a small range of psychic powers, including telekinesis, all of which, along with your weapons and UFO, can be upgraded by collecting people’s brains.

The problem with the game is that the combat is very shallow and the missions tend to get very samey very quickly. Even the comedy can become repetitive as you hear the same comments again and again. It’s no classic for sure, but if the setting and humour appeals you could do a lot worse than Destroy All Humans! -- Harrison Dent

IF YOU'RE IMPATIENT THEN THIS GAMES FOR YOU4
When i saw this game in My recommendations and saw the title I thought "Im a grown-up" why would i wanna buy this game. whats going on? But read other review s and rating and really its not that bad.

-->> The graphic is average. The sounds good. Very quick and easy to get used to the buttons etc. The best thing about Detroy all humans is that you don't have to wait long when loading (Loading, please wait.....) it only takes about 5-6 secs? and you start the mission. The mini clips are not very good (its in black and white).

-->> The missions are simple. Destroy..all..humans.( and other living things such as cow, =) yes i know.. but trust me its so fun.) You also get to "holobob or clone other humans which makes this game so unique. The mini quotes from people on the street are funny as well. You also get to fly your own saucer (space ship) and destroy buildings, etc.
This game is top!
Read my other reviews for other briliant games.

Destroy everything4
This is an enjoyable albeit short game (two weeks to complete). You play the part of a little grey man (not green) and have to complete linear missions either on foot or using your saucer. Think 'Mars Attacks' and you get the idea.

Crypto, the alien, has powers such as mind reading, psychokinesis and brain extraction. The latter is used for collecting DNA which is exchanged for upgrades.

It's fun using your array of zappers and bombs. For real destructive power though use your spaceship to blow up buildings and 'abductor ray' tanks and other hostiles.

The graphics are excellent and sound original. No real complaints except longevity. Once you complete the main missions, there is little replay value.

B-Movies come to the PS25
This game is one of the most original and funniest games I have played in a long while. As the name suggests you play an alien who has come to earth to wipe humans from the face of the planet (he is also there to collect DNA and find his previous incarnation but he mainly wants to just kill people). To help you in your mission you have a number of weapons from the basic Zap-O-Matic through to the Ion Detonator grenade launcher that do everything from electrocute to atomize and all in brilliant 1940's styling. You also have a fully tooled up flying saucer with Death Rays and Abducto Beams aplenty and your innate psychic abilities that you can use to terrify the foolish humans that stand against you. The missions your superior sends you on range from the absurdly easy to the fiendishly difficult but there is always something to interest and challenge you. The only criticism that I have of this game is that there is no multi-player option but that is a minor dampener on an otherwise brilliant game.
