Game Play "Top This" Game -- See who can get the most spins! As simple as it sounds, spin the top and watch the top to see how many spins you're clocking up. If you beat the high score, (which will also be shown whilst your spin is being counted), the top will flash! This game is one for an unlimited number of players, and it will addict everyone who plays. "Grab Top" Game -- See who can grab the top on the target number! Before starting select the level of difficulty(1- Easy, 2- Medium, 3- Hard), then spin the top to see what the target number is, and then play. Try and grab the top as it reaches the target number, the person who grabs it closest to the target is the winner.

"Zone Top" Game -- See who can land in the Zone! Before starting select the level of difficulty(1- Easy, 2- Medium, 3- Hard), then spin the top to see what the spin zone is, and play. If the i-Top naturally stops in the Zone, your the winner. "Mystic Top" & "Fortune Top" -- Use the magical powers of the i-Top Pro, to predict the future or to answer a mystical question! Choose either the "mystic" mode for answers to yes or no questions or reveal your mystical future with the "fortune" mode. Which ever you choose, all you need to do is spin. Message Center -- Create and display your very own i-Top messages! Save three separate messages, and then spin to see the three messages in sequence! Enter "CMP" to discover and unlock a digital compass.

Great fun
Bought one of these for a fellow thirty-something gadget fiend friend. He loves it - and so do I! Great fun for small groups. It's spent some time at his office. Apparently it spins quite well on desks...

Engaging little thing, this is. Doesn't look much, just a disc with a fold-up spindle to turn it into a top. But the LED display is timed so that it can show all sorts of things: revolutions, high score, etc. Very addictive.

I've scored it 4 for durability because it's quite cheap and one wouldn't expect it to be perfectly solid for the money, however the spindle mechanism isn't perfect so I think that a little "play" would develop in the movement over time. The top works well even so.

It's not really educational hence the low rating.

Really good fun though. In addition to the built-in games I'm sure it could be used for all sorts of forfeit/bonus type games for adults as well as children.

I bought the regular itop for my nephew last year, what can I say, it's a brilliant toy, he liked it a lot, I think I liked it even more though. There's something quite facinating about the array of LEDs that creates a message, very clever. Lots of fun games...what can I say, just get it!

I-Top is a good fun, original toy. Myself and my partner (I'm 28, he's 41) loved it, as did everyone in the pub where we took it to play with! On the down side, although we had fun with the light display and the games, tables are not a good idea as the Top falls off and ours broke! It still kind of works but not as well, so durability is not good. All in all though, a great idea for little boys and girls of all ages. I might buy the "Pro" version as a gift this year...
