Product Description

I'm Tracy Beaker, the great inventor of extremely outrageous dares - and I dare you to read a more brilliant story than this! I've bought a big fat purple notebook for writing down all my mega-manic ultra-scary stories in. But especially for my own story, of how my foster-mum, Cam, has turned out to be a real meanie; no designer clothes, when I really need them; a pokey flat, and a horrible new school. No wonder I bunk off...Still, it will have to do until my real mum comes and gets me. And until then, no-one is going to be better at the Dare Game than Tracy Beaker!

Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover
Tracy Beaker, the Great Inventor of Extremely Outrageous Dares - and I dare YOU not to say this is the most brilliant story ever!

I thought I was going to live happily ever after with Cam as my foster-mum. Well, ha ha! It hasn't turned out like that. Cam’s so MEAN! She won’t buy me designer clothes so all the other kids at my new school laugh at me. No wonder I bunk off and go to this special secret place. There are these two boys I meet there, Alexander and Football. We play the Dare Game - and I always win. I'm the greatest. I AM!

An all-time favourite Tracy Beaker story, now with an extra-special new introduction by Jacqueline!

Customer Reviews

Daring!4
The Dare Game was written by Jacqueline Wilson (one of my favourite authors). It is a Tracy Beaker Story and is very popular. It was illustrated beautifully by Nick Sharratt (who draws a lot for many different authors) and it was illustrated very exquisitely. This book is great for children who are over the age of 7 or 8 up to the age of 15 or 16 because adults are far too boring to read such a good and exciting book like this one. I think girls would like this book better than boys but I might be wrong. Criticisms: Many, many, many repeated words like great or amazing.

The Dare Game 5
The Dare Game is a fabulous story about a girl called Tracy Beaker, the Great Inventor of Extremely Outrageous Dares!
