Vinegar 1001 practical uses by Margaret Briggs
This is an essential book for all occasions, not only do you get a brief history of vinegar in general, but you find how it can be used in the laundry, in the garden; gets rid of slugs for example. In the home for decorating and renovation, for personal health, cleaning and odour control and of course in cooking.
This is easy and interesting reading, yet a reference book which I feel every home should have. A perfect present for male or female.

wonderfull vinegar
Vinegar is amazing, and until I read this gem of a book I didn't realise just how amazing it is, true I knew about cleaning windows, deodorising the microwave etc. But the amount of different uses the humble vinegar has is mind boggling and they work ! especially in the garden. A gold star for Ms Briggs for an excellent "must" for every homebody. I highly recommend it.

Only if you like the smell of vinegar
My wife tells me this is a very good book, and a good number of the ideas certainly work, but there is often a lingering smell of vinegar. We live in a rural area, with associated septic tank, so using non commercial cleaners is a good idea. The price on Amazon is a steal as well
