Disappointed
The title sums it up. Maybe I was looking for something other than what this book set out to do. It doesn't provide any new info on angels, it doesn't help with ways to communicate with angels and it offers nothing to increasing understanding of this area. I wish I'd saved my money for something more worthwhile.

VERY GOOD PLACE TO START
I've only just started to raise my awareness of the angelic realm so was looking for a book that wasn't too heavy going, too focused on one particular aspect and contained enough general info to give me some insight into the realm of angels.

For me, this book is that book.

Firstly, i want to say that the book itself has charm. It fits into the hands nicely & is small enough to be carried about or popped into a bag without becoming obtrusive.

As for the contents... it's layed out in easy to follow sections each covering a different aspect of angelic lore. Starting with a brief introduction to angelic tradition, and following through with chapters entitled: Angel hierarchies, Angels & the Kabala, Angel colours, Angel meditations, Angels of many lands, Angel Visions, Angel healing, Angels & crystals, Angels & essential oils, Angels & astrology & Angels of assistance.

I havent yet put into practise any of the practical aspects of the book i.e meditations, healing etc, but i have enjoyed reading it & found it to be informative - though slightly convoluted in a few places.

I agree with the reviewer who found the reference to a 'Parking Space Angel' a bit eyebrow raising... even though the author puts into context the purpose of this angel i.e to keep your car safe rather than help you to beat the traffic warden, i still find it smacks a bit of commercialism... who hasnt seen the Parking Angel figures that can be bought to hang in your car. I wonder whether we'll be seeing the 'Shopping Trolley Angel' next (helps you avoid the one with wonky wheels), or the 'Get to the Bus Stop on time Angel'...

So, overall a good buy & i'd recommend to anyone who is just starting an interest in angels

ok..flicked through book..seemed to be ok, then got to the 'angels in everyday life' chapter. 'angels of love' well yes, can see that...'angels of healing' yep very convincing....'parking space angels' ????!!!!! description 'as you set out on your journey ask the parking space angel to help find you a space' ....well it certainly gave me a good laugh, tho Im not sure that was the intention....
