Group Facilitation Reference Book5
The IAF Handbook of Group Facilitation is the best resource available on group facilitation. It is by far the broadest work on the newly developing field of facilitation. It is not something that you sit down and read through. I have found it can be used in two ways. One is to open the book to the table of contents and find an interesting chapter title. Read the chapter. The second is when an issue comes up like evaluating a program turn to the chapter that Terry Bergdalh wrote and see what he has to say about the topic. It is a reference book for anyone who has to deal with group decision-making, planning and team building processes. It is a must have for anyone interested in group dynamics and group facilitation.
