Training Practice by Penny Hackett
For those new to the science of adult training/learning this book provides a good overview of the various elements of training and the layout is logical. Unfortunately, it's very expensive for an overview - £27.99. I would advise having a nose through the local college of further education's library to see which books appeal based on readability, depth of information and additional reading references before buying any book. I would have given this book a 4 star rating if the price was under £15.
