Good4
Well we tried this out. Leaning out of the car window at 90mph. And it still lights your cigarette. Invaluable on hiking trips simply because the flame always lights in any weather instead of having to find shelter and the pious non-smokers in the group marching on whilst we struggle with an ordinary lighter. Loses a star for the spring on the lid breaking after 3 months, although the lid still closes OK, you just have to lift it by hand instead of it springing open automatically. Hint: if you run the butane can under the hot tap first, you can get much much more butane into the lighter. At your own risk of course, but hey, we're smokers right?

Good lighter but plastic case3
Since there are no explanation you should know that the lighter is plastic. It looks like a steel case but it's not. When you max the gas level fire goes down very slowly so you can easily burn the plastic cover of the lighter.

Impressed so far4
Bought this lighter as a christmas stocking filler. It seems quite robust (we haven't broken it yet). We do canoe camping trips all year round and in all weathers and a reliable lighter for stoves and fires is essential. So far it has worked at minus seven (camping in January)not tried it in high winds yet, but it is early days and I am sure we will. Good points: rugged, waterproof, windproof, clear panel to view how much fuel is left. My only gripe (which seems petty)is that it is black and silver. It would be better if it was bright orange or day-glo pink then you would lessen the risk of losing it in a field, putting it down and not seeing it in the grass, treading on it because you haven't spotted it on the ground. It may sound melodramatic but being able to find your lighter when it is cold, wet, dark and miserable can be a matter of life and death.
