Editorial Reviews

Review
'a completely different view of places many will hithrto have thought they knew. ... ' ... some of the most stunning aerial photographs of Cornwall ever seen' (Western Morning News, 09.05.06) 'a visual feast of the beauty and diversity of the county's landscape ... Stunning collection of pictures' (West Briton, 18.05.06) '... some modern photographers are true camera artists and John Such ... comes into this creative class. ... evoking memories of that distinguished native painter Peter Lanyon. ... John's photography has a strong sense of place.' (Cornish Guardian, 18.05.06) 'a visual extravaganza' (Cornwall Today, June 2006) 'fascinating bird's eye views of "God's own country". ... '... fully justifies its claim of being "a visual feast".' (The Cornishman, 01.06.06) 'They say a picture is worth a thousand words. If that is so, then photographer John Such has captured 50,000 of them in this stunning book ... Cornwall as it has rarely been seen before. ... will reward dipping into time and time again' (Cornwall Life, June/July 2006)'This is a collection of what are without doubt some of the most stunning aerial photographs of Cornwall'... 48 superb images ... all beautifully produced, as is customary with Alison Hodge, conveying the wonderful colours and tones of our homeland. It would make a pleasurable gift, a book to return to, rather than glance at once.' (Old Cornwall, vol. XIII, no. 8, Spring 2007)
