The Field Archaeology of Exmoor
Hazel Riley and Robert Wilson-North have written THE book about Exmoor's field archaeology .
Until this book was written, the result of several years of field work, little was known about the archaeology of this neglected upland area. The authors have done a great job in presenting the story of Exmoor's field archaeology, which spans all periods from the Palaeolithic (c 10,000 BC ) to World War 2,in a very readable text with over 190 illustrations.
This book is a must for all who like Exmoor and for landscape archaeologists.
