Editorial Reviews

About the Actor
In 1969 Sir Patrick Moore hosted the TV broadcast of the first moon landing on British television, expertly describing and explaining the sometimes hazy black and white pictures that were beamed back to an expectant Earth, as Neil Armstrong took that first step onto an alien surface.

Customer Reviews

Poor production let Patrick down3
Patrick Moore is fantastic as usual, but the low quality graphics and production will disappoint. I am new to astronomy (still in my first year) but found the content of this DVD very basic.
