turfgrass management5
A very clearly written book on this subject. Excellent examples to back up the underlying science

a superb book5
This is a superbly well written textbook which is fully up to date , with references (2006).
As someone with a background in chemistry the clear examples of the science involved in turfgrass management were fully appreciated, although I read this out of interest in the subject and am not doing a course, I would have no hesitation in recommending this book to a wide audience of people in most disciplines. Remedies for problems encountered have to be understood as they may differ according to climate, soil type and location, even quality of irrigation water, and this book gives you the necessary background to determine what type of analysis should be done and why. Interpretation of results may also vary and it is essential to know why. All aspects of turfgrass management are covered in depth while remaining very readable. A fine book.
