beginner at Turkish
I thought this would be a good pocket guide, unfortunately it is aimed at the Turkish tourist speaking English, All the English words are spelt out how they sound, but none of the Turkish ones are. so not really much use for a trip to Turkey !!
Do a little research!
Turkish is completely phonetic so there's no need for a guide to pronunciation if you learn how to pronounce the THREE letters which do not resemble their English equivalents.
There are plenty of sites online to do this.

I found this book to be a valuable resource both whilst I was in Turkey and as an aid to learning the language.Would highly recommend it !
