Customer Reviews
Buy this AND DK Eyewitness Guide. Lots of useful and interesting information, but not always very well organised.
I bought this book and also DK Eyewitness Guide to Istanbul and I'd definitely recommend doing this as they provide very different info. This book is great for maps, restaurants and other practical information, and also more indepth information, about history etc, Istanbul (DK Eyewitness Travel Guide)whereas the other is much more visual. I liked this one as I like more info, and my mum used the other one more.
I found the restaurant information useful and correct. However it was sometimes difficult to find the information I was looking for; I felt it could have been better organised.
very helpful
detailed maps, helpful to get an overview of things to see, places to eat, where to buy stuff and where rather not
