I'm very positive about this new edition - not only have the chapters from the previous edition been updated, but new chapters have been added. They layout of the book has also been improved. Excellent resource for both students and for tutors. For students: allows them to keep in touch/up to date on what is happening in schools as well as enabling them to address 'gaps' in their own literacy/mathematics. About the Author
Viv Ellis was a Curriculum Co-ordinator in an 11-18 community school before joining the University of Brighton, where he designed and led a new secondary ITT course. He is currently a University Lecturer in Educational Studies at the University of Oxford.
