Editorial Reviews

Review
I'm very positive about this new edition - not only have the chapters from the previous edition been updated, but new chapters have been added. They layout of the book has also been improved. I like the new format to the contents, much better! Especially good to see the updating for the new standards. --Lecturer, University of Southampton

An excellent text- good links to standards, thoughtful and provocative for students. --GTP Manager, University of Derby

Excellent resource for both students and for tutors. For students: allows them to keep in touch/up to date on what is happening in schools as well as enabling them to address 'gaps' in their own literacy/mathematics. For tutors: excellent resource for the planning of teaching sessions to include the National Curriculum --Development Tutor, Link into Learning
