Each recipe opens with the title, a note, the list of ingredients plus the method.
Metric Conversion tables are given on the last page before a complete list of the titles in the Salmon series on the inside back cover.

`The author, Dorothy Baldock, began her career as a journalist with Woman's Weekly magazine and later worked on a number of other women's publications.
She has always been interested in cookery, particularly traditional British cooking, and derives great pleasure from writing both about this and her other main interest, which is gardening.
As well as cookery she also enjoys tapestry, spinning, music and reading. '
