    Not what it appears2
Not a problem with the keyboard, this is a problem with Amazons "grouping" this is NOT a wireless keyboard despite being grouped with and looking identical to the wireless version. Still no cables on the picture! Gutted!

Anyway build quality is ok, but simply NOT WORTH 40 pounds. Going to cost me the postage to return.

    Nothing more, nothing less3
This is exactly what I was looking for: a small, wired keyboard with touchpad. For that, I can't complain. Service was swift (faster than the Amazon Prime items on the same order) and it does the job. It's solid, neat, and... well, "does the job" is about the best I can say.

The main gripe is the build: the keys are clunky and require quite a whack. It's so much like using a typewriter I keep pressing l instead of 1 - older typists will get my meaning. The keys are also quite close together, so aim well when bringing your fingers down (hard). Although the response is quick, building up a decent typing speed is tiring, and correcting miss-hits is common. Similarly, the touchpad seems to be built to withstand a hammer blow. (There are two rubber buttons, but often tapping a touchpad is more convenient.) Movement is responsive, but it can take two or three hits to select anything (and if you use drag-and-drop a lot, you must have patience).

Another problem is the qualifier keys. Sticky keys fails on several programs (iTunes, a few games) and 'fn' (for numberpad simulation) doesn't toggle on/off - or give any indication whether it's activated - it must be pressed down at all times. Whether this is the fault of Windows or not is unclear; there are no specific XP drivers, as it uses Windows default.

So, I looked for a small, wired keyboard with touchpad, and bought one. It may do the job, but it's hard work.
