You may as well watch Baywatch!
Whilst this dvd gives you a few tips, it gives you far less than you would learn from a basic surf lesson.
It is set in California where women appear to all surf long boards on perfectly formed tiny waves. They, nearly all, have long blond hair that never gets wet and wear bikinis to surf in - so probably more for the boys! It certainly does not equate to my experiences of learning to surf in the UK....which is far grittier and less glamorous.
There is one character who does give sensible, straight-forward advice....but it's not worth the price of the dvd.

Don't waste your money
What a disappointment! If you want practical, straight-forward instructions on learning how to surf, don't buy this. It starts with...(wait for it)... shopping! Some girls, apparently, choose their board by colour! Thirty minutes of lingering shots of Californian nympettes in bikinis for £14 is vastly overpriced, but if you're a 17 year old boy, you might think it's worth it.

Disapointing
This is not really an instructional dvd - if you're looking for a dvd to help you learn to surf 110% surf techniques is much better. If you want a girls surf dvd, then Shimmer is far superior.
