He may be young, only 21, but he has so much to say. In this riveting book MotoGP's brightest new star, Jorge Lorenzo, tells it straight, taking the reader straight to the emotions, conflicts and tensions at the heart of top-level motorcycle racing, as well as revealing intimate and thoughtful insight into his own journey to the top of his sport as team-mate to the great Valentino Rossi - and very possibly a future holder of Rossi's World Champion crown. Everyone loves the non-conformists of sport and here is the personal story of genuine maverick, told with honesty and charm.

Fascinating insight into a remarkable young man
Jorge Lorenzo: My Story So Far
I hadn't followed the 250cc class of MotoGP closely over the past few years but was aware of Jorge Lorenzo's successes and flamboyant celebrations. I was quite prepared to dislike him when he moved up to MotoGP in 2008 but was blown away by his talent, maturity and, particularly mid-season, his courage.
This book is, in my opinion, one of the most revealingly honest accounts of what it's like to be a very successful sportsman at such a young age, the pressures that this brings and how Lorenzo has dealt with them.
Different times and problems reveal that he can be ruthless or very empathetic and generous; confident or insecure; profound or youthfully humorous but above all it shows that this is a young man who thinks deeply about his place in life and what he hopes to achieve.
Often misquoted, this book showed the depth of Lorenzo's character and Matt Robert's translation never feels like a second-hand account.
Very highly recommended
Jorge Lorenzo: My Story So Far
I have only just started reading as I had a few Kibrary Books to get trhrough, however, what I have read is phenomonal, for his age, Jorge Lorenzo has had his future mapped out since he first began riding a bike. Once Valentino Rossi retires, or perhaps before then Lorenzo will be a MotoGP World Champion, but once Rossi has retired, Lorenzo could rule the world. He is an exciting talent and a young man with a great future ahead of him. I know that the book will only get better as I read more of it and get into the juicy bits midway through, but so far, it has been hard to put down.
Lorenzo - My Story So Far
Bought this for my husbands birthday - he hardly ever reads books, but surprisingly has not put this one down, so can only say must be good if you're a die hard Moto GP/Lorenzo fan!!
