Excellent laptop
My son loves it - it's fast, easy to use and very handy for his need, for his course in arts and designs. With the budget my son gave me to search for a decent laptop for him - at last I found the right one after a long search i.e. comparing laptop brands and models, considering available funds, canvassing from both highstreet and online stores and reading owners' reviews about Toshiba Sat L300-29X - this model is also upgradable to Windows 7 which is good- another tick to my requirement.
Built-in camera is a bonus. It has good quality sound and screen display. Amazingly fast according to my son.
There may be more laptops out there with extreme features however with this current purchase of mine I am more than satisfied and settled.
Regarding delivery of this item, well, securely packed and Amazon delivered it on time- fast and reliable too. Good value from Amazon store, just right for my son's requirements- no regrets in anyway!

Smooth looking laptop
Bought this for my grandchildren for Christmas - its better than mine!!
It is a good looking laptop, but from what I have seen it does everything you expect and more !! (Warning - does not do the ironing - one drawback).

Excellent purchase
I purchased this machine for my wife to use for Internet access, email and photos. We are both very impressed with it, picture is really impressive being both bright and very sharp, processor is quite quick enough for general use, and the range of software is quite adequate for home use. The only failing is Vista, but having removed the Aero desktop and tuned the machine for performance rather than glitz things now move along pretty quickly.

Not sure if it remains so, but the machine came with an upgrade voucher for Windows 7 Premium which can be purchased for the princely sum of £29.00. I intend to upgrade when I have a little spare time and if my first impressions of 7 hold true it will make this laptop an even better buy.
