Edward Monkton is a relative of Purple Ronnie, the other well-known creation of Giles Andreae. The three of them live together, philosophising and generally at peace with themselves and the world.

Better than prozac!
I loved this book..it's adorable drawings and sentiment gives a really nice feeling. Everyone should get a copy. I keep one by my bedside and it makes me smile every morning. This pig is my new hero!!

Happiness
I think this book is simply wonderful. It's a beautiful story about a very ordinary pig who decides to become EXTRAORDINARY by always being happy and seeing the best in everything. A short story that serves to remind us that happiness is infectious and
that we can choose in any moment whether to be happy or miserable.

Fab, fab, fab!
Sheer brilliance from Edward Monkton (even if he is just the purple ronnie man writing under another name). Takes about 5 minutes to read, but in that time will transport the reader into a better mood and make them laugh out loud. Silly, simple, or perhaps very wise - buy it and make up your own mind. By the way, a Lovely Love Story by the same author makes a great present for parents.
