'Christians in the West', claims David Watson, 'have largely neglected what it means to be a disciple of Christ. The vast majority of western Christians are church-members, pew-filler, hymn-singers, sermon-tasters, Bible-readers, even born-again believers or Spirit-filled charismatics, but not true disciples of Jesus.'
'The call to discipleship is a call to God’s promised glory. This is not a day in which to play religious games. Time is running out fast.'

Customer Reviews
For all Christians who have lost their way...
I am just starting to adapt the material in this book to write a 6 week, 12 session course on discipleship, and will be encouraging all the students to read it. It is so clear and instructive that many people would benefit from it, especially those who have lost their way a bit and need a reminder about what the point of being a Christian is. Well worth a read!
AMAZING
Thought provoking, challenging, inspirational, encouraging, correcting, instructive, powerful and relevant to living a life of Christian discipleship and obedience in the 21st century...an amazing book, and well worth reading.
