Customer Reviews
Depends on what you're looking for.
I have not yet finished this book but am far enough in to have picked up on some significant flaws. If you are looking for an informed and unbiased interpretation of women's position in the bible, as I was, then this is not the book for you. Full of contradictions and over-empahsis on the virtues and positive aspects of Christianity, the book ends up sounding preachy, and becomes almost entirely useless from an academic perspective.
