well worth the price
A well documented book on a very popular subject. It has many interesting features such as chapters on the Political, Religious and Sccioeconomical backgrounds, which gives the reader a better understanding to the historical background of the gospels. The book is conservative and scholarly and yet accessable to the layperson. The three detailed indexes (Author, Subject and Scriptural) are very helpful for instant access. I would recommend this book to anybody who is interested in studying the life of Jesus Christ for you will refer to it again and again.
