As many as one in ten of the Irish population has some kind of disability - whether physical, sensory or intellectual. All proceeds from this book will go to the Disability Federation of Ireland, the Aisling Foundation and the Camphill Community Celtic Lyre Orchestra.

About the Author
Fiona Murdoch developed a penchant for human-interest stories during the early days of her career, reporting for 'The Leader' newspaper in Northern Ireland. She wrote a parenting column for 'The Irish Times' and she is Ireland correspondent for a British recycling magazine. Her first book, 'Victor Bewley’s Memoirs', was published by Veritas in 2002.
