A useful little item to have!
I'd have to argue with the claim that this item ensures anyone sharing the bed isn't disturbed, at all. It's not quite that good, but does a fair job of reducing the noise of a bedside radio in general, and it's a handy item to have, if sharing the room with another person.

** Be Warned** - the volume of your radio will need to be considerably turned up to hear it through the pillowspeaker (and your pillow!) so standby to turn the volume DOWN swiftly, if you unplug the speaker - or you'll deafen the neighbours!

I couldn't live without this gadget
I love to go to sleep listening to the radio or my iPod. My wife can't go to sleep if there is a radio on. For years she won the battle. That is until I found the Pillowtalk speaker from Roberts.

A quality item I now can't live without. I am on my second one. The first finally broke its cable after 8 years of continuous use (I even take it on holiday with me). I hated the three days between it packing in and my new arriving from Amazon.

I can once again doze to the chat on Radio 5Live or Radio 4 - or the World Service on my DAB radio. Or if I prefer I can plug it in to my iPod and snooze away to my podcasts or favorite music.

this device is a lifesaver for me - the person who designed it is a genius and I bow to his or her greatness. Thank you Roberts.

Mostly good news
Speaker seems very good quality, as one would expect from Roberts. A little concerned about the lead, which, although a sensible length, does seem thin and May not stand up to much rough treatment. All things considered though, a recommendable product.
