Good - but could be much better.
We bought this book rather than the larger "Florida" Eyewitness Travel version which we had already borrowed from a friend. I got the impression that this book was very similar, but only covered Walt Disney World. So we pretty much got what we expected, but with one massive omission. There are no park maps in this version of the book :-( What is worse is the sticker on the front that says "Improved Maps".
In my opinion that is a massive omission and why I have only given it 3 stars. Other than that, its exactly as its says on the tin and small enough to carry around with you if you wanted.
Superb Guide
This book is a must when going to Florida. It not only covers Walt Disney, but the other major attractions as well.
I understand what the other reviewer was saying about park maps, but you are issued those with your tickets when you get there, and so much changes from year to year (and possibly throughout that year also) that I imagine it would be impossible to include park maps as well (FYI you can get these from the internet should you be desperate to view them before you arrive).
One great thing you do get with this guide is a good idea of how to 'work' the parks (which attraction to go to first, which to avoid etc), including roughly how much time to expect to spend 'doing' each park and also tips on things you may not necessarily know like booking restaurants in the parks.
Like all the other Eyewitness Guides there are invaluable bits of info (for example - do not wear ordinary sunscreen to Discovery Cove - it is not good for the Dolphins) that are great to know before hand!
The guide also lists rides - when they are at their most and least busiest and a rating of the major rides (whether they are unmissable or not!!)
All in all a fantastic guide to take with you.
