Product Description

Love him or hate him, Triple H does what he wants, when he wants to do it. And in this book, for the first time anywhere, he tells you how he does it - and how you can too. "Making the Game" is Triple H's verbal and visual blueprint for building your body. He discusses how he morphed a skinny 135-pound 14-year-old into one of the biggest superstars in World Wrestling Entertainment. For twenty years he has lived the philosophy that training results not only in improved strength and conditioning but in increased self-discipline and the ability to focus of setting goals. This book isn't for pantywaists who would rather exercise their egos! In "Making the Game" he takes the reader step-by-step through his personal training techniques and the challenges he has had to overcome to reach the top - including how he came back from career-threatening injury with just nine months of a specially-designed rehabilitation program in 2001. He discusses the nature of exercise and the value of form over volume; the dangers of over training; how to avoid training injuries and how to inject creativity into your workout. For those who want to get themselves into the best shape of their lives, there can be no better guide.

innovative read3
I was a bit dubious about reading this book, but once i started reading it, i found it interesting as he talks about his attitude to body building and wrestling, also how he proves that not to give up, even with his quad injury, anything can be done, i'd recomend reading it,

Ever doubted the game?4
This book is not only a body building book, its a mini-autobiography, every alternating chapter is a chapter of a pivotal moment in his life. from going to wcw, to wwf, to winning, to the clique, to rehab.

Although its a good read, its not worth it if you're not a body builder or like to train.

He gives a great taining regime, which was in Muscle and Fitness last month for £4 but this ones more detailed, and can really help beginners and moderate weight lifters.

Its not an advanced bodybuiler's book.

Don't buy this book if you're in it for the 'stories' part. The book is a bodybuilding book, and the entire thing can be read in just over a day.

Still, excellent nutrition and weightlifting tips.

I bought this book as a wrestling fan and was not dissapointed and it was a nice added bonus that it went into such detail regards weight training giving tips on routines and nutrition as well allowing an insight in to his life.
