Leaves a lot to be desired.....2
They were giving this DVD away free with a purchase of a WWE game, and I can see why.

Many people were excited to get an Andre DVD, since he is one of the most well known wrestlers, EVER. What's good about this DVD is that there are a lot of matches, and a few of them are actually quite good, such as the tag team match with Andre and Snuka against The Wild Samoans.

However, that's about it for the good side of the DVD. What's bad is that most of the matches aren't very memorable, and they don't really feature Andre in his prime. Aside from the matches, there isn't really anything else. There is no biography, no insight into Andre's past, health problems or death.

I would recommend this only to the most hardcore fans or if you find it cheap somewhere. It was given to me free by my friend, I would never have got it otherwise.

A Giant Disappoinment!1
Like many who watched the WWF in the pre-Stone Cold era, we knew that wrestlers did not come any bigger than Andre, both figuratively and literally. That is why I was hoping that this release would be in the same vein as the previous WWE superstar DVD sets. I assumed that it would have a documentary about his life (preferably the Andre The Giant- Larger Than Life A&E documentary that WWE authorized and sold on VHS), followed by supplements that included many of his most famous matches. Instead, this release is nothing more than a 90 minute DVD transfer of an old VHS video that has wrestling promoter Lord Alfred Hayes talking over several of Andre's matches. He never has anything more to say than, "Look how massive Andre is!" There are absolutely no insights into Andre, his upbringing, or any of the rumors that have long shrouded his mystique. In my opinion, WWE missed a supreme opportunity to give the older and younger wrestling fans a fresh look at this legendary Hall of Famer that was long overdue.

Andre the Giant5
I suppose I am just a wrestling fan and really I had only seen Andre's appearence at wrestle mania, so the dvd was a really treat, a good collection of matches and apart from his changing hieght and wieght a good insight into his character.
