Product Description

The seven-foot Superstar Kane has always shunned attention, so much so that he never once spoke throughout the first years of his career. Now and then fans have been given tantalising glimpses into his strange and tormented life. They know that his mother died when he was young in a fire set by Undertaker - his half-brother. They know that as a teenager he was the driver in an accident that killed one of his few friends...But what fans have seen and heard on television is a fraction of Kane's full story. This book will uncover his shocking past and reveal the truth about him as never before. What secrets lie hidden behind those eyes? What made him the creature he became? Journey Into Darkness takes the enigma that is Kane into terrifying places where few would dare to go.

Customer Reviews

Interesting, if nothing else.4
I thouroughly enjoyed this book. Although the continuity between this book and the history you know about Kane from TV is a little "off", the book does a superb job of stitching together the backstory of Kane.

The book mainly focuses on Kanes childhood after the accident which killed him family, and describes much of the shunting around between foster homes and adoptive families. The books goes into explaining the many tradgedies of Kanes childhood, not just the fire, but the other events which shape him into the monster he becomes, including his relationship with his best friend Katie vick.

Much of the book is focussed on Kanes youth, but towards the end moves onto his adult life and his confrontation with his brother Mark whom he hadn't seen in 20 years.

I think this is a very entertaining read if you take it with a pinch of salt and just enjoy the narrative.

this is a realy good read im not much of a reader but once i started reading this book i didnt put it down untill i finished it.i was amazed by the story and would recomend this to anyone.especialy if your a fan of the wwe

It is all here.5
Yes, you grappling fans, it is the story you have all been waiting for, the story of Kane, kid brother of the Undertaker. Here we have the explanation of what, where and why he became the big, red evil.
A jolly good read and sad at times. Far from disliking the boy, I felt sympathy for him. As a bonus, there is all the dirt on Katie Vick.
Great idea to produce a histoire on this most fabulous character whom I have always felt Vinnie has not exploited to his full potential. Let's face it, this story bumped Kane from a third carder to rubbing shoulders with the best.
Do read it!
