Customer Reviews
This tape looks at the first and second DX.
WOW! This tape includes memorable moments from the original, pre-WrestleMania XIV, heel DX and the second generation, pre-Wrestle Mania XV, super face DX. DX may have changed a LOT since back then, but the group that formed in late-97 is still going strong to this very day. It is absolutely hilarious, and includes all your favourite DX moments: HBK and Triple H using helmets and windscreen wipers when talking to Slaughter, Chyna introducing two new DeGenerates to the fold, the Undertaker barbeque, the invasion on Atlanta, the Nation parody - it's all there. This is an essential tape for anyone who's still a DX fan, or even a fan who has stopped liking them since they went heel. You MUST buy it!
1997: year of complete mayhem
The one after the Bret Hart scandal. The one with the silly matches. It starts off with Los Buricuas v DOA minus Crush. This is an pretty boring match. Then the first Light heavyweight title match with Too Sexy(Grandmaster Sexay) v Taka Michinoku. A great boxing match follows between Butterbean and Marc Mero. The Outlaws defend the titles in a plausible match against the LOD. Surprisingly HHH v Sgt Slauter is a good match with Chyna getting involved at every chance. Jeff Jarrett v Undertaker is a rubbish match with, you've guessed it,Kane interfering. Stone Cold faces The Rock in a great match for the IC Title. Then a boring match with Ken Shamrock v Shawn Michaels for the WWF Title which winds up with Owen Hart interfering in revenge for his brother. After watching that you thank god the age of superheros is over.
