Survivor Series 24
This is just when the WWF started taking off, I am not going to bore you with all the details of the matches as this ruins your fun when buying the video/dvd. All I can say is that the whole Survivor Series collection is brilliant. It is the best wwf PPV by a long shot.
You have the likes of the TWIN TOWERS, HOGAN, MACHO MAN, BAD NEWS BROWN, DEMOLITION, HART FOUNDATION, ULTIMATE WARRIOR, you really do have a big range of the classic WWF superstars.

I am writing this review for the sole fact that I would like to know what I am buying so therefore I will give you as much info as possible without ruining it too much.

All in all this is a fantasic PPV.

Well worth a look!!!

survivor series 883
this kicks off with a massive 20 man tag:
tag champs demolition are fueding with the massive powers of pain. brain busters are fueding with the rockers and bulldogs and hart foundation are both in the hunt to take demolition on for the gold whilst engaging themselves with the rougeou brothers

demolition/bolsheviks/conquistadors/brainbusters/rougeous VS
powers of pain/rockers/british bulldogs/hart-foundation/young stallions.

A great combination of wrestlers here and the 45 minute marathon ends with a controversial/confusing finish which involves fuji/demolition/powers of pain. inexplicably a post match interview with the powers was cut, it certainly would have served to explain the confusion. but the match is brilliant for a 20 man tag.

the next two matches are edited beyond belief! ultimate warrior/brutus beefcake/sam houston/jim brunzell/blue blazer vs
honky tonk man/ron bass/danny davis/bad news brown/greg valentine. fueds at time were warrior/honky, beefcake/bass. the rest were just there for the sake of having them in a match or to make up numbers.

the match was edited down showing just the eliminations and the ending of the contest. the same can also be said for another edit job when
jake roberts/jim duggan/tito santana/scott casey(sub for b brian blair)/ken patera VS andre the giant/dino bravo/harley race/mr.perfect/rick rude. 4 of the heel team are now dead and the match is clipped down to the endings and eliminations. fueds were roberts and duggan/andre/rude and the rest were again making up numbers.

the full main event is shown as wwf champ macho man along with hulk hogan/hercules/koko b.ware/hilbilly jim take on the twin towers/red rooster/haku/ted dibiase.

a very interesting match that began a great fued with savage/hogan who at the time warred with the twin towers whilst ted dibiase had to keep his eye on the newly face turned hercules who wanted his blood aswell as that of herc's former manager bobby heeenan at ringside. well worth a watch in particular for the first and last matches plus see bret hart/british bulldog/HBK in their younger days.

HULGAN AND SAVAGE HEADLINE3
I GAVE THIS EVENT 3 STARS AS ITS A PRETTY AVERAGE PPV , WELL IF YOUR A FAN OF WWF IN THE LATE 1980S , NOW DAY FANS MIGHT NOT BE THAT KEEN ON SEEING IT AS IT WAS IN 1988 SO YOU CAN IMAGINE ITS A BIT OLD FASHIOND.I PERSONLY ENJOYD IT SEEING IT AS ITS A CLASSIC SURVIVOR SERIES PPV , WITH EVRY MATCH ON THE CARD BEING A TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH WITH HOGAN AND SAVAGE TEAMING UP IN THE MAIN EVENT.IF YOUR A OLD SCHOOL WWF FAN OR COLLECTING WWF PAY PER VIEWS THIS WOULD BE A GOOD BUY FOR YOU OTHERWISE YOUR BEST TO BUY A MORE RECENT WWF PAY PER VIEW.
