Synopsis
Towering over people at 6'4 and weighing in at a muscular 246 pounds, WWF Smackdown superstar Triple H is truly a force to be reckoned with. The long-haired, surly superstar is filmed doing what he does best in THE GAME--pounding the pulp out of his competitors.

That Damn Good !
I love Triple H. The smarts of the world may hate him, but for me is the total package and truly the game. I've followed him since his Blue Blood days, through to King of the Ring, DX side kick, leader, defector, rebel and eventually The Game. He truly has had an amazing journey in the world of wrestling and it was about time a DVD was made for him. Even Kurt Angle has one and he's been in the WWE only 3 years. Firstly, this is a great DVD. It has so much Triple H info and he is NOT in character during the interview which helps make you identify with him more. It has part of his great shoot interview with JR where 'THE GAME' is first mentioned and he talks about how the fans made the name stick. His humour segments, VERY funny, his injury, his comeback and his reaction to the pop he got, which is helped because he is out of character when he talks about it. His bodybuilding hobby and his journey to the WWE title. Its a Triple H journey and a great DVD.
So, why 4 stars and not 5. Simply, it doesn't go into a greater depth as I would have liked. It would have been nice to have some more details on Triple H in D-X. His relationship with Shawn Michaels and Chyna, some of the sketches they did. The new DX, I would have loved to have seen the Nation Sketch, his feud with the Rock, the invasion of WCW headquaters, his excellent ladder match with Rock that made Rock a star and finally had people looking at Triple H like he could be a future main eventer, ending with his turning on the group. His heat with Austin. His excellent feud with the Rock, that helped make critics, fans and everyone admit he was the Game. The classic feud with Austin that was a year in the making, climaxing at No Way Out with an awesome 2/3 falls match. One of the best, most brutal matches ever.
It is a shame that these things are missing from his story but thats not enough to spoil it for me. Any Triple H fan will be more than happy with this. As a bonus, theres a VERY funny MadTv sketch, his match at the Royal Rumble with Cactus and a CLASSIC match from 89 with Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat.
Buy this DVD to find out why Triple H is the Game and is That Damn Good,
It's "That Damn Good!"
I ordered this from the American Amazon.com as soon as I knew it's release was imminent. As one of Triple H's biggest fan's I was expecting great things from this long awaited DVD. It had already been delayed once to incorperate his return to the WWE after his amazing return at the end of 2001, so there was plenty of time to ensure it lived up to expectations.
And it does!!! Everything from the start up screens where you get previews of other wrestlers DVD's, to the main title screen with Motorhead playing in the background, and the actual content of the DVD.
Everything is well laid out and you really get an insight into Triple H the wrestler, how he lives wrestling day in and day out. How a simple mistake can put you out of the business forever and how one man's ambition to be the best, can make him battle against almost impossible odds to reach that goal.
As a bonus WWE have even thrown in an Easter Egg on this to tell you why the sledgehammer is his weapon of choice - if you can find it!
If you loved the Steph and HHH saga, his rise from a heel to a face and back down again, the DX days and some of the greatest matches - this is the DVD for you! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
This DVD kicks ass!!!
No matter what you think of Triple H, you can never deny the fact, that he is the wrestler with quite possibly best storylines throughout his career. This dvd brings you his old DX Generation days with Shawn Michaels and Chyna. It also brings you the stories with Stephanie from 1999-2000 and their marriage in 2002. It also shows us his feuds with Chris Jericho before Wrestlemania X8. This dvd also includes Triple H himself talking about his real life hobbies and other things. Get this DVD, because it's time to play the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
