Royal Rumble 2004 is the best rumble scince the classic 1992 and 1998 events here are the matches :

World tag titles tables match - Dudley Boyz vs Evolution
good opener but only 1 table used 7/10

Cruiserweight title match - Rey Mysterio vs Jamie Noble
good light heavyweight match 7/10

eddie guererro vs chavo guererro
very good match quite some high flying impacts here 9/10

wwe championship match - Brock Lesnar vs Hardcore Holly
Why is Holly in a title match, it is a good match though 7/10

Last Man Standing match for the wold heavyweight title - HBK vs HHH : very desint match here, hard hits with a chair and the anouncers table, great that it endid in a draw sort off which meant that there will be another HHH vs HBK classic ( Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood 2004) 10/10

Royal Rumble match - best ever rumble match you'll see 10/10

Not A Royal Rumble, Not A Royal Fumble.
As good as this Rumble was this was not the best one. This was one of those events when so many things would ruin the event. The Royal Rumble was very eventful so it was bearable to watch but some of the other matches were as bad as the matches at Last Years Extremely BAD BLOOD.

RAW MATCH
Tag Team Championships.
Table Match.
Dudleyz vs Evolution (Ric Flair & Batista)
Right to open the Rumble Event the WWE used a Tables match with Table Match experts. Yet this match was shorter than a fuse on a stick of dynamite. And this match needed a lit stick of dynamite to make it exciting. This was an awful match and just as things started to get interesting, the match ends. This was a terrible opener and really doesn't make the rest of the card look promising.

SMACKDOWN! MATCH
Cruiserweight Championship.
Rey Mysterio vs Jamie Noble w/Nidia
Well at least this match was better than the Table match but the situation that was involved with Noble and Nidia ruined the match seeing that the match kept stopping. Thankfully when they were in the ring the match was very good in several areas but there just wasn't enough of it.

SMACKDOWN! MATCH
Eddie Guerrero vs Chavo Guerrero w/Chavo Sr.
With Chavo copying Eddie's style, and with his dad with him to ensure the loss of Eddie This match seemed that it would get very boring and be ruined but I was definatley wrong about this one. This was a great match and was probably the Match of the Night. Besides being a decent length it had great moves and adaptations to make this brilliant match. It is a shame to watch this match then have it followed by the next one.

SMACKDOWN! MATCH
WWE Championship.
Brock Lesnar vs Hardcore Holly.
Yes, you read it correctly, Hardcore Holly. How the writers are getting away with this is beyond me. This is a major championship match. This match 'to put it very kindly' was the biggest pile of trash I've ever seen in wrestling and I've been watching it since the first Wrestlemania.
Even though Holly puts on a performance as good as possible. This makes the RR2003 match between Steiner and HHH look like the Ironman match between HBK and Bret Hart.
It really does seem that the Royal Rumble has not been kind enough to Lesnar. Last year his match against the Big Show was dull and his bout in the Rumble was really predictable. (He had to wrestle to gain the spot on the same night.)
Back to the match. I mean a wrestler like Hardcore against Lesnar is just ridiculous. You know what was going to happen even if you don't want it to.

World Heavyweight Championship.
Last Man Standing Match.
HHH vs HBK.
I love No DQ matches. All of them except Last Man Standing Matches. These are dull matches. Looking at the last few you can probably see why. They are predictable, shorter than they should be, have little originality with the use of weapons and seem to end in the same area.
This one was different although this was more of a storyline match and turned out better than I assumed and had a load of highlights and a shocker ending.

ROYAL RUMBLE.
Now this was an eventful Rumble and I mean eventful. During this match there were five events that kept Tazz and JR talking all of which would lead to further matches. The reason for this is because of the much anticipated WMXX. With a good build up the matches could be great. But in doing this I think they might have over done it and really did ruin the anticipation of who will win out of the final four. However if it were not for these events the Rumble would have been a complete bore like 2003's nd this was the best Rumble match since 2000 but still not in the same league as that one.

This Rumble has been a huge improvenment since the last one but it comes down to you. My advice is rent first than decide if you want to buy it. I myself will buy it with WMXX but if you enjoyed the last few you will love this one. If you were dissapointed with the last few you won't get a huge dissapointment with his one.

Benoit beats everyone.
This was the best Royal Rumble ever.The first match,Batista and Ric Flair vs The Dudley Boyz in a Tables Match for the World Tag Team Championship.Having the titles,Batista and Flair did have the advantigde,so they deserved to win.Good match.3/5.Eddie Guerruo and Chavo Guerruo had a great match.As always,Eddie Frog Splashed his way to victory.4and a half/5.Jamie Noble wanted to take the Cruserweight Championship home with him.His challenge failed as the champ,R-E-Y Mysterio hit Noble with the 619 and a springboard legdrop of the top rope and regained his championship.5/5.Brock Lesnar defeated Hardcore Holly with an f-5 to regain his WWE Championship.2/5.HHH regained his World Heavyweight Championship against HBK in a thrilling Last Man Standing match.HHH won by a double-count out.4/5.And finally,the Royal Rumble match. My favourite part was when The Undertaker's gong rang out to distract Kane.Booker T elimenated him. Spike Dudley walked down the ramp but Kane Tombstoned the hell out of Spike.Chris Benoit,no.1 entrance won the royal rumble after he elimenated the 7foot 500pound Big Show.5/5.exelent match.
