Synopsis
WWE Survivor Series 2005 On November 27, 2005, the WWE roared into Detroit for its annual SURVIVOR matchup. A jam-packed showdown between the stars of RAW and SMACKDOWN, the year-end roundup included the return of the Undertaker; a WWE Championship between John Cena and Kurt Angle; a U.S. Championship between Chris Benoit and Booker T; a Last Man Standing Match between Ric Flair and Triple H; and a 5-man Tag Team pitting Shawn Michaels, Kane, Big Show, Carlito, and Chris Masters of Team RAW against Batista, Randy Orton, JBL, Rey Mysterio, and Lashley of Team SMACKDOWN.

Survivor Series 20054
Survivor Series was actually a great PPV, with only one bad match. I'll just review all of them:

1. Match no. 1: Chris Benoit vs Booker T - U.S Title
A good opener, although a bit boring after a while. Benoit was excellent as always and Sharmell is a total slut! Some ok moves, but not what you'd expect from their Best of 7 Series in WCW. But on the whole, not a bad start. Booker wins (Boo!) 5/10

2. Trish Stratus vs Melina (MNM) - Women's Title
Finally, a good Diva's match! Doesn't beat the confrontation Trish has with Mickie at WrestleMania but Melina performed great and looked hot as always! Worth watching if you're a Trish fan as well. Trish wins after a great ending move. 7/10

3. Last Man Standing: Triple H vs Ric Flair
A fantastic match! Definitely one of the best I've seen and totally brutal. Especially the screwdriver - gross! Watch it - without a doubt one of the best, if not the best Last Man Standing Match I've seen. The Game wins. 10/10

4. Kurt Angle vs John Cena - WWE Title (Daivari Special Referee)
A brilliant Title match! Some nice confrontations between Angle and Cena. Three referees were knocked out and a Smackdown ref came and counted the pin for Cena - watch the Extra with Angle & Daivari; very funny! The crowd booed Cena a hell of a lot as well which was entertaining. Cena wins after an FU. 10/10

5. GM vs GM Match: Eric Bischoff vs Theodore Long
Absolutely terrible. The only good part was when The Boogeyman beat the hell out of Bischoff. Very sloppy and a pathetic waste of space which could have made up for the next match. Teddy Long wins. 2/10

6. Batista, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, JBL & Rey Mysterio vs Carlito, Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Chris Masters & Kane
This was great for a Survivor Series match, but everyone was eliminated too quickly and was too short a match for it to be an absolute classic. Lashley was impressive, as was Shawn Michaels and Chris Masters. RAW should have won in my mind. However, on a final note, if you like Classic Survivor Series matches then this is indeed one for you. Also, Undertaker's return is great. Smackdown wins with Orton as the Sole Survivor. 9/10

Overall, a decent PPV of 2005 - however it could have been a classic if the GM match was off and more time was spent on the main event. Get the DVD, you'll love match no. 3 particularly.

Dead Man Returns4
US Title Best out of 7 Match (Match 1)
Booker T vs Chris Benoit 7/10
A good start to Survivor Series and what good be a great best out of 7 series match. The ending was boring and stupid

SmackDown vs RAW Match
Women's Title Match
Trish Stratus vs Melina 5/10
A decent women's match that didn't disappoint in skill and the looks department

RAW Match
Last Man Standing Match
Triple H vs Ric Flair 9/10
An excellent last man standing match with lots of brutal spots and I thought Flair would not be able to cut it in this kind of match and environment but he does it like it's a piece of cake

WWE Title Match
John Cena vs Kurt Angle: Special Guest Referee Daivari 6/10
To be honest as much as a fan of Cena and Angle I am I am really getting board of these two wrestling and trying to out do each other

SmackDown vs RAW Match
General Managers Match
Teddy Long vs Eric Bischoff 1/10
Thank goodness for The Boogeyman ending this match before it was too late

SmackDown vs RAW Match
Classic Surivor Series Elimination Match
Team SmackDown (Batista, JBL, Rey Mysterio, Lashley and Randy Orton) vs Team RAW (Shawn Michaels, Chris Masters, Carlito, Kane and Big Show) 9/10
A fun match to watch that had a mix of wrestling veterans like JBL, Mysterio, HBK, Kane and Show and new talent like Batista, Masters, Carlito, Orton and the impressive Lashley. The only draw back is it was over way to quickly.

The last man standing match and the main event make this card worth watching the other matches are mediocre at best plus we do get to see the return of The Undertaker watch out Randy Orton.

WWE Survivor Series 2005 - Good PPV!!4
Survivor Series 2005 was a very good PPV and should be added to your collection when the dvd is released matches were

1 Star- Lowest 5 star Highest

WWE United States Championship- Chris Benoit vs Booker T

*** Good Match, lots of near falls and counters, Chris Benoit was on top form, sharmall was being a bitch on the outside as usual and The crowd were right into it, Good Performance

WWE Womens Championship Match- Melina w MNM vs Trish

** Not Bad for a Womens Match, Trish was carrying melina to a OK match,

Last Man Standing Match- Triple H vs Ric Flair

**** Best Match of the PPV, Very good brutal Last Man Standing Match, It was fairly long as well about 25 mins and lots of good high spots in the match that kept this match good and entertaining there is weapons used and a Announce Table Bump as Well,

WWE Championship Match- Kurt Angle vs John Cena
Special Ref: Daivari

*** Good Title Match, Not that long but good, never boring, The crowd were hot in this one booing the hell out of cena which was cool and They cheered for Angle

General Manager vs General Manager- Eric Bischoff vs Teddy Long

* Horrible Boring Match, Skip this match only good part was when The Boogeyman made his PPV Debut!

Smackdown vs Raw 10 Man Survivor Series Match
Shawn Michaels, Carlito, Chris Masters, The Big Show and Kane vs Batista, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, JBL and Bobby Lashley

**** Very Good 10 Man Tag Team Main Event, Never boring good Performances all around, Good Ending as Well also The Undertaker Returned Good Entrence at end of match and Beat up lots of wrestlers and then stared down Randy and did all his usual Poses

Survivor Series was the 2nd best PPV of the Year in my view, Wrestlemania 21 being the Best, HHH/Flair, Cena/Angle and the 10 Man Tag were Awesome matches and when the DVD is released get it because you won't be dissapointed with the PPV apart from The general Manager Match
