Manufacturer's Description
When Pooh decides to donate to those in need he finds his cupboard jam-packed with honeypots! Pooh needs your help to count his honeypots and choose which ones to keep and give away.

LeapStart Books introduce concepts that develop reading readiness, such as letter recognition, phonics, repetition, rhyme, and music. Your child simply places the book on the LeapPad player, pops in the cartridge, and touch any page with the Magic Pen to bring learning to life. This book also works with the LeapPad Plus Writing learning system.

Customer Reviews

Lots of fun with Pooh and Tigger Too!4
My four year old loves this story as there are many more things to do other than just hear the story. Each page has a game, either counting or colour recognition, and all the objects on the page either play a tune or say a phrase when touched. Great fun and she hasn't got bored with it in the last year. Much more popular with her than the other leap pad books we got which were more educational based! It just goes to show that they prefer to learn when they don't realise that is what they are doing. Would definitely recommend it!

exceptional book5
although always very doubtful of so called electronic learning aids
i was very suprised and impressed with the leap pad lots and lots of honeypots, my 5 year old daughter was able to use the book following simple instructions and enjoyed hours of learning as she wanted to. She could choose counting games, matching and classifying and number recognition, but the beauty of this book is that she could do it independantly which gave her a great sense of achievement, she altered her games as she wanted to, and continued to learn the whole time

nice book, but hasn't captivated my daughter4
I thought my 3 1/2 yr old daughter would love this book as she loves Winnie the Pooh, but so far, she has been more interested in the sample books that came with the LeapPad Plus, than in this one (or in the Thomas one I bought her). Unlike a previous reviewers daughter, she really likes the educational stuff (mazes, puzzles, rhyming and spelling, etc.) and finds the games in Honeypots too boring. Maybe she'll change her mind later. She loves her LeapPad, so it's just a matter of finding the right books to capture her imagination. Too bad the books are so expensive, as they seem to be hit or miss according to individual tastes.
