Synopsis
Scooby-Doo and Shaggy have their work cut out for them in this feature-length, supernatural mystery. A maniacal magician is turning people into monsters, and in order to stop him the pair will have to venture into the spooky depths of Halloween land. Awaiting the hapless pair are an assortment of storybook bogeymen and of course the object of their quest--the Goblin King! Jay Leno, Tim Curry, James Belushi, Lauren Bacall, and Hayden Panettiere lend their voices to this fun-filled animated film.

Fun but not the best
As an adult with 2 young daughters it's always an exciting time when a new feature-length Scooby Doo animated film is released (even for the kids!).
Whilst this film has great animation as usual, the story just doesn't have much to it compared to the rest of the more recent Warner Bros releases.
A few of things that are most obvious are that 1) Shaggy and Scooby feature heavily whilst the rest of the gang don't very much - not a good thing in our household 2) There is no real mystery at all - just what effectively amounts to one long chase 3) It feels like it's just a quick release to tie in with Halloween time and feels a bit one dimensional.
That's not to say that kids won't enjoy it, ours did and laughed along with the scrapes Shaggy & Scooby get themselves into, however what they haven't done is ask for it to be played again which is most unusual.
So, our view is for the next one get a better story, make it a mystery and get the rest of the gang involved.
For those who haven't got any of the feature length episodes I'd avoid this and go for Witch's Ghost, Loch Ness Monster, Alien Invaders, Zombie Island and Chill Out which are all superior to this release.
After Life
This is season outing for Scooby Doo and the gang Fred, Velma & Daphne don't feature all that much but I feel it may be becuase people you created Scooby Doo are no longer with and has been left in the hads of the company that bears thier names.
This is a great 74 minutes movie but not the best Scooby Doo fans will enjoy it and you can also learn a few cool magic tricks to master.
Join the gang as they enjoy All Hallows Eve (Halloween) in Coolsville (Thier Home Town) Mystery Inc don't really have a mystery to solve but a supposed rescue mission.
If you like Scooby Doo this will keep you entertained but if Scooby Doo solving a spooky mystrey with Scooby Snax a plenty is for you, you should give one this miss.
So join Sccoby Doo and the gang for a Zoinks & Jeepers Halloween.
