Synopsis
The hilariously irreverent and enormously popular animated series 'The Family Guy' expands to a feature-length movie in order to explore the true origins of maniacal baby genius Stewie Griffin. Seth MacFarlane's family of losers and misfits, headed up by bumbling dad Peter, was deemed too controversial by FOX and ended after an all-too-brief run, only to return to the channel by popular demand. It all starts out with Stewie's near-death experience, after which, shaken and questioning his life, the baby goes on a drinking binge. He resurfaces only when he sees on TV a man who looks just like him, and it dawns on him that this is his real father. Stewie embarks upon a road trip, intending to get to the bottom of it all, while meanwhile Peter is fired from his job for being a bad parent.

Ecellent
Its great to see this sort of movie released on the PSP and also quite a suprise. Family guy the movie is a very funny masterpiece, and any fan of family guy should not be disapointed. The first extra included are an audio commentary with the writers and cast, although not incredibly informative it is very funny. The second extra is a storyboard comparison of 2 scenes. The only major let down I suppose would be the fact that the film is presented in 4:3 rather than fill the whole screen, but then again thats how its aired on TV and DVD so not really a dissapointment. All in all a great buy!!
ON PSP, NOW, FANTASTIC!

Not as good as you'd think but still brill
Don't get me wrong this is full of the kind of gags synoimous with Family Guy. Being an avid Family Guy viewer myself I bought it on the day it came out and couldn't hep a twinge of dissapointment. the thing it that whils being pack with hugly funny phisical and verbal parts it gets slightly tedious watching it all for an hour and a half. Its the kind of humor which you can qoute with your friends and will be endlessly funny for a very long time but which you have to stop and start againg. So the the humor is fresh. The plus point to this is an unusual one for a movie. It has replay value. Ive found myself watching it in small random 20 minute slots. this way it is temendously funny. there is also the added quality of having brilliant and portable comedy. Family Guy fans should buy. I would probably say the rest should too. especiall if you are new to the whole thing.
