so disappointing
this calculator was agreat success when my grandson,aged 5 opened it. Sadly after 2 daysof moderate use the number keys stopped working. He was very upset!

Just What My Dad Needed!
Never sure what to get my parents for birthdays etc.. so when I came across this I was overjoyed! Constantly teasing my Dad (who has just hit the spritely age of 70)about old age creeping up, I realised this calculator would not just be a giggle but a useful tool for him! His hands "..aren't what they used to be.." (what were they then, flippers?) and his eyesight with the "wrong" glasses on seems a constant irritation. The keys are slightly bigger for gentlemen (or ladies) with larger hands, the display is clear, the numbers are clear and the functions are basic and perfect for adding up the pension and cold weather payments! This is where I now admit that I bought one for me! Have you ever lost a calculator? We have lost about 5, but not this one!!! It is too big to lose, we keep ours in the bookcase and it always seems to be returned there.. even the kids put it back after using. With my kids, because the digits are so big it takes them longer to use, they actually take more care inputting the numbers! It's even got a little solar cell! I think this is a great calculator and every family should have one! But makes a fun gift for retirement (adding up the pension!), new baby (adding the cost of nappies!), 18th (cost of a round!), new home, wedding, get well soon (because the prescriptions are costing us a fortune!) The list is endless... hold on I will work it out with the calculator!
