nostalgia!
How quickly the last fourteen years have passed, but I still remember the highs of this match as if it were yesterday!
Although lacking in extras, this DVD is of good picture quality despite being taken directly from transmission, and for the price is excellent value!
It is worth purchasing even if only for a reminder of how good the Spurs team of the time was, especially Gascoigne & Lineker, although there was also a lot of other talent in the team, possibly eclipsed a little by the brilliance of the two best known players.
Gascoigne was at the height of his popularity and brilliance at this time and his free kick was one of the best Wembley had ever seen, and his brief after match interview is included here demonstrating what a joker and live wire he really was. Unfortunately his temperament let him down badly in the final a few weeks later and a series of irresponsible tackles left him with an injury that sadly kept him out of the game for over a year, and some could argue he was never the same player again.
This DVD is a great nostalgia fest for not only great players but also the now sadly gone twin towers of Wembley Stadium, so buy it!
